Dear Students and Parents,
Greetings from Adarsh Gyanodaya Vidyalaya! We hope this letter finds you in the best of health and high spirits. As the summer vacation commences, the school has designed a meaningful, engaging, and age-appropriate Summer Holiday Homework for students of all classes from Nursery to Class X and Class XII, for the academic session 2026-27.
The holiday homework has been carefully designed in alignment with the NEP 2020, NCF-FS 2022, and CBSE curriculum guidelines, and aims to foster creativity, critical thinking, healthy habits, family bonding, and subject-specific skills during the vacation period.

Guidelines for Parents
Dear Parents, your active involvement in your child's learning journey is what makes the difference. We request your kind cooperation:
-
Support, Don't Complete: Guide your child in understanding each activity. Encourage them to explore and attempt the work on their own. Avoid doing the work for them.
-
Create a Learning Environment: Designate a quiet, well-lit space. Set aside 30β45 minutes daily for holiday homework.
-
Encourage Conversation: Talk to your child about what they are learning. Ask questions, listen, and share experiences.
-
Monitor Screen Time: Limit mobile and television usage. Encourage reading, outdoor play, and creative activities.
-
Pre-Primary Parents: For Nursery, LKG, and UKG, several activities are 'parent-child' tasks requiring active participation. Enjoy these moments!
